A year in the life 2016 #214: appropriate Opening Ceremony timing

I woke up feeling rather sick, so it was actually excellent timing for the Olympics Opening Ceremony. I happily sat on the couch feeling bad, tweeting and enjoying the ritual experience.

A year in the life 2016 #213: sunsets in the air

I do love a sunset from the air.

A year in the life 2016 #212: back in an airport lounge

And so, back in the routine of lounges and flights and working wherever I am. It was nice to have a break…

A year in the life 2016 #211: Stranger Things

Definitely the best new tv thing for 2016.

A year in the life 2016 #210: office view

It is hard to beat the view from our offices really.

A year in the life 2016 #209: dinner time lectures

At dinner tonight we were talking about James’ lecture this morning and then the boys wanted to know more – so James got out the lecture slides! Nothing like some dinner time learning.

A year in the life 2016 #208: park and little friends

It was lovely to have a chance to see Steve and Shell, Fritha and the twins. The twins have grown so much in six months!

Fritha was slightly more interested in cake than Sebastian – a girl has to get her priorities right!

But she was definitely keen on hanging around.

Jude got up a tree.

And won a new fan.

A year in the life 2016 #206: post work sunset

It is lovely to walk to and from work, and even more lovely to be able to leave and walk home through the sunset.

Especially a lovely sunset.
