2016-03-05 11.39.24Korea does loves its K-Pop. And what better way to celebrate your love of your idols than by placing statues of teddies for each band or performer decorated individually to represent them along a road and calling it K*Star Road?

A year in the life 2016 #80: Spanish this time

Another lunch with James – long service leave is excellent. This time we tried outone of the many options at the Central Markets. This was at Comida and was absolutely delicious.

A year in the life 2016 #79: driving to training

Roller derby training for both us and the boys is some distance from where we live in the city, down roads we wouldn’t normally drive. I love the coloured barriers catching the last of the sun.

A year in the life 2016 #78: bout

James played in a friends and family bout with Light City Derby today. I proved how bad I am at being a NSO because I can’t help but keep up a constant commentary on what eachteam should be doing.  At least I was score tracking though, and away from any action. Once a benchie…. Anyway James’ team won, so ot was all good in the end.

A year in the life 2016 #77: sausage

We went adventuring today. Included in that was a visit to the Adelaide Roller Derby League’s season launch at the Wheatsheaf Hotel where Zac won a hat and we all ate sausages.

A year in the life 2016 #76: LEAVE!!!

First day of four months of leave!  Lunch with James was a nice way to start.

A year in the life 2016 #75: saying goodbye

With my leave starting the next day, it is likely to be the last time I see James for some months. Which, when you consider that usually we see each other almost daily, and even since I have been in Adelaide has been weekly on average, is a bit sad. But I am sure all the not going to work will help make up for it!
