A year in the life 2016 #251: weights

It is super convenient having a gym in the building. While I can’t do a full range of lifting there, there is more than enough to do a good session, and when I am time-poor or transport deprived I can still lift some heavy things.

  1. Believe it or not: you can do all of the compound movements that bodybuilders do with just dumbbells. While I don’t generally recommend him to people over other fitness personalities, Scott Herman prefers dumbbells over barbells, and you could probably get a few decent workouts from his youtube channel.
