A year in the life 2016 #44: Victoria Square

I love how Victoria Square has changed in the 20+ years since I lived in Adelaide. When I was growing up, Victoria Square was a bit of a dead zone, not particularly well used, a place you didn’t really go except to catch the tram to Glenelg. Now it has become a well used space, reflecting what is happening in the city. When we arrived it was the heart of the Tour Down Under; now it has been transformed into the Royal Croquet Club, a key spot for the Fringe. It is great to look upon it all from my offices.
